You have the idea. Maybe you've even produced the event before. But turning a great cultural experience into something that is strategic, financially sustainable, fundable, repeatable, and ready to grow requires more than creativity.
The Launch Lab by We Produce Culture is an eight-part training experience designed for Cultural Producers—the event creators, artists, entrepreneurs, community builders, storytellers, curators, organizers, and experience-makers who bring people together and make culture happen.
Across eight trainings, you'll take one real idea through the complete Cultural Producer journey:
PURPOSE → PEOPLE → PLACE → PRICE → FUND → PROMOTE → PRODUCE → PITCH
What You'll Learn
Week 1 — IMAGINE: From Imagination to Cultural Purpose
Get clear on why your experience needs to exist, why you're the person to create it, why now matters, and what you actually want people to experience.
Week 2 — DEFINE: People Before Programming
Identify your Cultural Buyer, understand what they value, and design around a real audience instead of trying to create something “for everybody.”
Week 3 — DESIGN: Space Is a Character
Choose spaces based on audience, purpose, accessibility, operations, atmosphere, and experience—not just what's available or looks good.
Week 4 — PRICE: Money Tells the Truth
Build your budget, calculate break-even, understand your real capacity, price your experience intentionally, account for your own labor, and identify the funding gap.
Week 5 — FUND: Shared Value Beats Asking for a Favor
Identify partners who have a reason to build with you, develop sponsorship opportunities, create a funding stack, and make stronger partnership asks.
Week 6 — PROMOTE: Make the Right People Pay Attention
Turn promotion into strategy. Develop your message, content, channels, calls to action, distribution partners, and campaign around how your audience actually makes decisions.
Week 7 — PRODUCE: Deliver the Promise
Move the experience out of your head and into a system with timelines, roles, a Run of Show, vendor and talent coordination, hospitality, risk planning, contingencies, and closeout.
Week 8 — PITCH: Make the Opportunity Legible
Bring everything together into a clear story that helps sponsors, partners, funders, venues, collaborators, and audiences understand what you're building, why it matters, and exactly how they can participate. The pitch becomes the compressed story of the infrastructure you've built. We Produce Culture Launch Lab W…
By the End of the 8 Weeks
You won't simply have “an idea for an event.”
You'll have the foundation for a cultural production model: an Event Vision + Purpose, Audience Persona + Journey, Venue + Experience Plan, Budget + Break-Even + Pricing Strategy, Partner + Sponsorship Strategy, Marketing Campaign, Production Operating System, and Showcase Pitch + Specific Ask. Whether you're building a festival, market, workshop, dinner series, exhibition, storytelling experience, community gathering, creative activation, conference, pop-up, or something that doesn't fit neatly into a category, these trainings are designed to help you move from:
“I have an idea.”
to:
“I know why it exists, who it's for, how it works, what it costs, who can help, how people find it, how we deliver it, and what I need next.” We Produce Culture Launch Lab W…

Get access to the complete 8-week Launch Lab training series and work through the framework at your own pace.
Pause. Rewatch. Apply the exercises directly to what you're building. Return to individual Labs whenever you need to rethink your pricing, prepare for a sponsorship conversation, launch a campaign, build your production system, or sharpen your pitch.
This isn't just event planning.
It's learning to recognize yourself as the person building the experiences, relationships, systems, and infrastructure that make culture possible.
Culture doesn't just happen. Someone produces it.
Build it. Fund it. Launch it.
